NEWS

Hi again it’s the summer, well a couple of good days!

We had a lovely time at St Peter’s Brockley sharing the Songs and Stories as well as helping with the Sunday morning service. It was great to make new friends and catch up with old ones. We also had a very special time as honoury ladies at the Horley Baptist Church ladies retreat at Ashburnham in Sussex, God was very gracious and blessed us all with His manifest presence.

A special thank you to Gwen at Earlswood Baptist Church for asking us to share in her 90th birthday celebrations.

The Friday Nights at St Bart’s are going well and we are trying a few different ideas for size, it’s always good to ring the changes as ruts aren’t good! Come along and see for yourself.

We are looking forward to a well earned rest during August and a chance to work on other projects. There’s still plenty happening so do have a look at the what’s on pages.

Where is this year going?

We hope you had a happy Easter and isn’t it good that the nights are getting longer and we have seen the sun! We have had a busy start to the year, the trip to the Isle of Wight was a very special time of blessing to us all and we are grateful to new friends at brighstone.

It has been great to share with Horley Baptist Church on a couple of occasions and to experience such Spirit filled worship Thanks and we hope to work together more often. We have continued to meet up with Earlswood Baptist Church on a regular basis and it wonderful to worship with friends and family. The privelege of leading services in High Down Prison continues, this is a challenging but very special time. The Friday Night’s @ St Bart’s are going well and continue to be a big part of what we are up to.

James (the drummer) is about to take his GCSEs so please pray for him. We are looking forward to visit St Peter’s in Brockley (South London) in May to share Songe and Stories as well as a service. We hope to meet up with some worship leaders and encourage one another. We are also looking forward to share with the HBC Ladies as they go on retreat to Ashburnham in East Sussex as well as good friends in Tonbridge.

It has been great to have Mark Kendal from Crawley Community Church helping out on Bass guitar when he can - thanks Mark.

Well that’s about it for now, have a great spring!

Happy New Year 2010

We had a great time at the new Years Krutanany with a large lump of Roast Pork! Lots of contented eating noises.

The CD’s have been going well and we are on the way to the Isle of White to share with Malcolm Williams at Brighstone on the 30-31st Jan. This will be our first trip overseas! We are really looking forward to it and trust we will have a very special time together.

After much disruption due to the snow we are settling down to a normal routine! (whatever that is!). It has been great to have Mark Kendal from Crawley Community Church help us out with Bass guitar a few times and we are grateful to him for all his help. That’s about all for now many blessings The Kru.
